Shipping & Delivery

Shipping Method

Beebolt currently uses UPS and USPS for shipping orders to the 48 contiguous states in the USA.  We use United States Postal Service to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses or US Territories.  We make every effort to ship orders placed by 1:30pm CST on the same business day.  Orders placed on a week-end day or holiday will be shipped the next business day.  In the case there is an issue with your order, we will contact you via e-mail or telephone.

Shipping Rates

Our shipping rates include handling and are determined by the merchandise value (prior to sales and discounts) of your order.  A limited number of items from our website are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer and can incur additional shipping charges due to size and weight.   Drop ship items are identified on the particular item’s product description page and flagged during check out.  

 

Freight Surcharges
Heavy or oversize items may be subject to a surcharge in addition to the regular delivery and handling charges listed below. Any applicable freight surcharge will be displayed when you place the item in your shopping bag; the surcharge appears in parentheses after the item price on the product page.

Why are some orders drop shipped?

We drop ship select items in order to give you the most efficient and cost effective method of delivery possible.

 

 

How do I track my package?

If your select UPS for shipping your order, you will receive an e-mail with a UPS tracking number.  You can follow your package with the tracking number.

 

 

What happens if my order is shipped wrong or is damaged in transit?

Contact us immediately via e-mail at info@beebolt.com or by telephone at 1-888-9BEEBOLT (1-888-923-3265) so we can correct the situation.

 

 

What shipping options are available?

Shipping options are United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Postal Services (UPS).  If you select  UPS to deliver your package you may choose between Ground (standard), UPS 2-Day, or UPS Next Day.

 

How soon will my order arrive?

USPS - delivery time varies, but averages 3-5 days

UPS Ground and USPS: delivery in 7 – 10 business days

UPS 2 Day: delivery by close of business 2 days after the package is shipped*

UPS Next Day: delivery by close of business the day after the package is shipped*

*In order for expedited orders to be shipped on the same day as the order is placed, the order must be placed and successfully processed (including payment) before noon CST. 

 

Can I pick up my order?

If you are in the Twin City area and would like to pick your order up to avoid shipping expenses, we can accommodate you.  Will call orders must be placed via telephone at 612-245-1090.  Orders may be picked up at the warehouse located at 7135 Shady Oak Road, Eden Prairie, MN  55344, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm Central Standard Time.  Please allow one business day for us to process your order.  Please note that the warehouse is closed on the week-ends and during major holidays.

 

Shipping to Canada and Mexico

 

Shipping Method

Beebolt currently uses USPS Priority Mail to ship to Canada and Mexico.  Orders placed on a week-end day or United States national holiday will be shipped the next business day.  In the case there is an issue with your order, we will contact you via e-mail or telephone.

Our shipping rates include handling and are based on a flat rate based on the merchandise value plus insurance.  Please note USPS Priority Mail International is not trackable.  A limited number of items from our website are drop shipped directly from the manufacturer who determines the shipping method .  These items and can incur additional shipping charges due to size and weight.   Drop ship items are identified on the particular item’s product description page and flagged during check out. 

 

Customs and Duties

Customs forms will state the retail price paid for the products shipped.  We cannot mark packages as “gift” because this is illegal.  Custom duties and brokerage fees may apply and vary.  They are the sole responsibility of the customer.  Beebolt cannot be held responsible.

New Sewers

Is there a brick and mortar store for beebolt?

No, at this time beebolt is exclusively an e-commerce retailer located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

 

What sewing machine should I buy?

There are many wonderful options available at a variety of price points making it impossible for beebolt to give you a specific recommendation.  However, we recommend purchasing a machine from a reputable dealer who offers you free instruction, quality service and a warranty on your machine.  Also spend some time thinking about what type of sewing and/or quilting you want to do in the future so a dealer can match a machine to your needs.

 

As a new sewer, how do I decide what to order?

We have labeled items with a Good for Beginners icon  to indicate that a product is “good for beginners” to help you select patterns and projects that will be a good place to start.  On single patterns, when possible, we include an image of the back of a pattern that has a list of what you will need to help you order everything needed. Kits can be a good option as they come packaged with most of the items necessary for a project. 

 

Returns & Replacements

Why can’t I return books, patterns and magazines?

Due to copyright laws, books, patterns and magazines may not be returned.

 

Why can’t I return cuts of fabric, cut according to my order?

 When you order a specific quantity of fabric, it is a custom order cut to your specifications.

 

Can I return my order for a refund?

Ordering

What is the minimum amount of fabric I can order?

The minimum amount of fabric you can order is a half yard.  From there, you can increase your order in eighth yard increments.  We will always provide you with a continuous cut of fabric from the same bolt and if this is not possible we will contact you prior to fulfilling the order. 


Why do I have to convert fraction to decimals when ordering yard increments?

The system is set up that way and it enables us to keep accurate real time inventory that is visible to you on the site. 

 

How do I convert fractions to decimals?

Divide the top number of the fraction by the bottom number.  For example with ¾, simply divide 3 by 4 to get 0.75 or use our handy dandy chart below.

 


How do I check the status of my order?
