With more than 14 years of experience as a IDM and 30+ years of experience across semiconductor materials, contamination control, and global supply‑chain strategy, Terry Francis’s career spans a wide range of technical and operational roles supporting high‑volume manufacturing.

Terry spent two decades in senior technology leadership roles focused on FEOL/BEOL materials qualification, advanced contamination‑control programs, and critical‑path chemical supply‑chain development for Tier‑1 semiconductor manufacturers. His work included leading initiatives in PFAS regulatory impact analysis, CMP and specialty‑chemical sourcing frameworks, and cross‑border supplier benchmarking during periods of rapid node transition and tightening global supply constraints.
After retiring from corporate leadership, Terry founded TA Francis & Associates, an advisory practice supporting suppliers, foundries, and investors through strategic assessments, white‑paper development, and semiconductor chemical‑ecosystem analysis. His recent work has centered on supply‑chain resilience, regulatory shifts, and materials readiness for advanced packaging and next‑generation process nodes.
Terry holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Oregon State University and an MBA in International Financial Management from National University. He lives in San Antonio, Texas.
